If you are a follower and an avid fan of korean drama, you'd probably be able to distinguish good actors from bad actors. Korean acting is very specific. In a korean drama production, it is important that actors have good pronunciation and good technique in delivering their lines. It is also important to fully grasp the character in order to present good acting. Knets would not take bad actors for granted. Overacting is also a NO NO.

This past few days, I am watching Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim. The first episode was not that exceptional but I thank myself that I didn't drop it because it is really great. The drama consists of ensemble cast lead by Han Suk kyu, Yoo Yeon Suk, Seo Hyunjin. The drama was directed by the same PD of You're all Surrounded. It was a medical drama about passionate surgeons who began to learn from each other and overcome their own life struggles. The drama is portraying the importance of having a mentor or someone you look up to in life. It is by far one of the best korean medical drama I have watched. There is drama, romance and comedy altogether.
The actors are really great especially the main leads but Han Suk kyu really nailed his role as Master Kim or Kim Sabu. Thank God that I had discovered him through the drama. His voice and his actions are just too great. That's the reason why he got the Top Excellence Award in the last SBS Year End Drama Awards. But through this drama, I had also discovered someone worth mentioning. Actor Yang Sejong who played the role of Dr. Do In Bum which was the son of the main antagonist President Do. Despite being a rookie actor, he really nailed the role of the sometimes bratty but also gifted general surgeon who is the rival of Yoo Yeon Suk's character. Oh, and did I mentioned, he is just too hot and handsome?
Yang Sejong is born in the year 1992. He auditioned for the role of Do In Bum. Before doing Romantic Doctor, he was also a part of Lee Young Ae's comeback project, Saimdang, The Light's Diary which was a preproduced drama that premiered last January. After Romantic Doctor, He soon played the role of three characters in 2017 OCN drama Duel. In his profile, it is mentioned that he was a student of Theater and Film in Korea National University of Arts.

In every role he played, it is just surprising that his facial expression and acting changes and improves. I remember seeing Park Bogum in him. He also somewhat looks like Yoon Shiyoon. He is now nicknamed as "monster rookie" and "acting god" in Korean forums. Some knets also mentioned that he already served in the army so that's plus point. I think he will be the next big star. Yang Sejong will soon reunite with co star Seo Hyunjin from Romantic Doctor in the upcoming SBS drama Temperature of Love. It is a romantic comedy and slice of life drama that centers with the characters relationship and the concept of finding love at a right timing. The drama premieres today, September 18.

Yang Sejong and Seo Hyunjin will play a noona-dongsaeng couple who are 6 years apart. The teasers and trailer are really great. I am looking forward and excited for it. This past few months I think dramas are kinda boring but this drama is looking exceptional. Add to that is how lovely the stars are. I am a total fan of Seo Hyunjin whose forte is romantic-comedy. Yang Sejong on the other hand is just so promising that I think this project will become a turning point in his career. Nonetheless, with his talent and looks I think Yang Sejong will really shine and become the next big star. I can feel the amount of fans that he will attract. Mark my words.
